报告摘要:

    Partially parallel imaging (PPI) is an emerging magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technology in compressive sensing. By partial data acquisition PPI reduces scan time significantly, but this reduction leads to serious aliasing artifacts in images. In this talk we present our model and algorithms for fast and accurate reconstruction of images from PPI. Moreover, the use of PPI technique allows scanning multi-contrast MR images with the same field of view in a clinical exam for complementary diagnostic information. We will further show how to use sharable information from multi-contrast images to improve the quality of image reconstruction in multi-contrast PPI.

报告人简介:

    Dr.Yunmei Chen is a Professor of Mathematics at the University of Florida in USA. Dr. Chen received bachelor degree from Fudan University, a master degree from Tongji University, and doctoral degree from Fudan University. Her research interests include partial differential equations, nonlinear analysis, PDE/variational methods in image processing, and optimization techniques in image analysis, and medical image analysis.
